Universities in the US enroll more international students these years. Compared to native US students, the tuition and fees for international students are usually much higher. When international students come to the US to study, they are more willing to spend the big fortune on good universities. Here I am listing out several good universities (which ranked top 60 according to USNEWS national universities ranking) with lower tuition, fees and daily expenses. I’ll also talk about the universities with the highest tuition and expenses in later post.students_2357903b

1.) University of Wisconsin- Madison

The total estimated expense per year at University of Wisconsin- Madison is $38,199 with $26,634 for tuition. There’re approximately 4,900 international students in this school. It locates at the city of Madison which is a smaller city that the rent and daily expenses will be much lower than metropolitans.

2.) Georgia Institute of Technology

The total estimated expense per year at Georgia Institute of Technology is $ 39,308 with $29,402 for tuition. Almost 4,300 international students are enrolled in this school. It locates at the hub city of Georgia, Atlanta. You may join more activities and find more job opportunities than some other small places.

3.) University of Maryland- College Park

The total estimated expense per year at University of Maryland- College Park is $40,004 with $27,287 for tuition. They have nearly 3,500 international students. This university locates between Washington DC and Baltimore that you’ll have an opportunity to enjoy both of the big city and suburban life.

4.) University of North Carolina- Chapel Hill

The total estimated expense per year at University of North Carolina- Chapel Hill is $41,140 with $28,446 for tuition. The number of international students is approximately $1,700. Also, locating at a small town, Chapel Hill, other expenses will not be too high.

5.) University of Florida

Locates at a mid-size city, Gainesville, you’ll save some money on apartment rent and utility expenses while spend some money on fun activities since Orlando or beaches are just in 2 hour driving radius.
